Masking Background Technique

  1. Place a few drops of Classic ink refills in a plastic stamp and supply box.
     
  2. Add a few marbles.
     
  3. Shut the lid and roll the marbles around till they are well inked.
     
  4. Open up the lid and apply a small piece of dotto adhesive to your cardstock and attach to lid.
     
  5. Close the lid. Turn the box over and roll the marbles across your cardstock.
     
  6. After you've achieved the look you want, open the box and pull out your cardstock.
     
Tips:
  • The more marbles you use, the busier the pattern.
     
  • You can create different looks depending on the number of colors you use.
     
  • Don't use more than three colors at the most; two is often ideal.
